I was recently given the honor of taking over the maintenance and further development of the Advanced Settings plugin, and my goal is to add as much value as possible to the WordPress community with it.

So there will be changes, but it will remain powerful, lightweight and largely backwards compatible. So let's get in touch and let me know what you think.
